Time to change the scenery

I've been getting lots of notes whether I take commissions or not, so I guess I need to clear the air.
Well, I don't take requests, but I do accept commissions time to time when my schedule is open, but frankly
I wouldn't recommend myself for private commissions because I'd need to charge from the standard rates
and those rates are set by the publishers I work with. So I would suggest you to take a look around on dA
before asking me to give you a quote, because there are hundreds of talented artists who solely depend
on the commissions and they work with reasonable fees. But if you're fine with spending a novel cover fee
for your birthday, valentine's gift or your unique tattoo design, then by all means, be my guest

Anyways, two artbooks have recently published my artworks, I just thought I'd let you know in case you're interested.

As an appetizer here are some new teasers for the upcoming bookcovers I made for various publishers:

Now for the main course:

As you may already know Deviantart has made some changes on the print prices to make them
cheaper, and as a result our profits were cut back and the base prices are now higher.

I don't want to be the bad guy here so I'm gonna run with it for a while and keep my profits
to a minimum. But it's not gonna be like this forever so if you're planning to buy one, I suggest
you the do it soon. Compared to the old prices, our profits, especially for the small sizes are
ridiculous now, so I thought it would be good to give you heads up before I change anything.

17 Mayıs 2008 Cumartesi Günü, Doğuş Üniversitesi'nde, Saat: 11:00 / 18:30 arasında.

Digital Arts Günleri 2 etkinliğinde çalışmalarını hayranlıkla izlediğimiz, değerli sanatçılarımızla buluşma fırsatımız olacak. Sanatçılarımız sahnede bilgi ve deneyimlerini paylaşırken, hazırladıkları sunumları sizin için sergileyecekler. Sunumlarının sonunda kısa katılımcıların sorularına yanıt vermeye çalışacaklar.

Ülkemizde yeni yeni gelişen "Dijital İllüstrasyon" üzerine hazırlanmış bu özel etkinliğe tüm profesyoneller ve ilgililer davetlidir.

Etkinlik Corel Painter Türkiye Distribitörü Eti Bilgisayar'ın destekleriyle gerkçekleştirilmektedir. Etkinlik sırasında Eti tarafından katılımcılar için özel bir paket hazırlanmıştır. Dijital İllüstrasyon konusunda profesyonellerin tercihi Corel Painter programını ev kullanıcıları 69 Dolar'a satın alabilme imkanına sahip olacaklardır.

Panelin başlangıcında 2d, Dijital Illüstrasyon, Konespt Tasarım konu ve disiplinleriyle hazırlanmış eserlerden oluşan karma bir sergi hazırlığı yapılmaktadır.

Evet ilanini yukarida verdigim olayda hazir bulunacagim bir aksilik olmazsa, henuz saatleri bana
bildirmediler ama ogrendigimde buradan yazarim. Neyse efendim orada olacagim, canli olarak

Ulan askerden geleli 1 yil olmus hala journal ayni... Neyse, arkadaslar bildiginiz ya da yeni ogrendiginiz uzere Digitalarts
dergisinde bir köşem var, içerik itibariyle bir yorum köşesi, genç (bir yas siniri yok aslinda...) çizer arkadaslarim bana
resimlerini gonderiyorlar ben de yorum, duzeltme falan yapiyorum. Siz de resimlerinizin yorumlanmasini istiyor ve faideli
tavsiyeler almak istiyorsaniz resimlerinizi kerembeyit@hotmail.com adresine gonderebilirsiniz.

Resimlerinizi gondeririken, isim, yas, sehir bilgilerini ve ogrenim durumunuzu ya da okudugunuz okulu yazabilirseniz cok iyi olur.
Yas cok onemli ama yasinizi kesinlikle yazin 12 yasindaki sabiyle, 42 yasindaki kazik kadar adama yazacagim seyler ayni olmaz

Hadi bekliyorum.

NOT: Arkadaslar, bana deviant hesaplarinizi gonderip, "hadi yorum" demeyin, siz kendi sectiginiz (guvendiginiz)  2-3 adet resmi maille bana yollayin ki bu is bir sisteme otursun.

Well... I'm back. It was like hell but it's finally over

Now I don't have any obligations that will keep me away from my work which has become my life's purpose... From now on I can concentrate on my work only. Thank you all for your kind messages when I was gone.

Neyse kazasiz belasiz atlattik. Bana tek faydasi ailemin, arkadaslarimin ve meslegimin onemini farkettirmek oldu. Ozgurluk gibisi yokmus... Simdi artik sirtimda kambur olmadan sadece isime verecegim kendimi (Tabi bir ay boyunca oyun, film, muzik ve yatisa doyduktan sonra.) Ben yokken mesajlariyla destek olan herkese tesekkur ediyorum. Devre kardeslerim 311'lerin cumlesine gecmis olsun derken, torun olan, tosun olan 313'lere de sabir ve hayirli tezkereler diliyorum. (Ozellikle Trakya'da askerlik yapanlar icin.)

Spring Cleaning...

I am doing a spring cleaning in my gallery. Delete some pieces, edit some of them, because I did some minor changes on my works, and I have to put some copyright info on my pieces so don't mind the notifications. I'll edit the related prints also.

Efendim, galeride temizlik yapacagim, bazi isleri de editliyorum, deviation bildirilerini dikkate almayin.
