This is a great piece. I just picked up the new Dark Sun 4e book and have been going thru to familiarize myself with the new 4e Athas. I love the Bow and arrow, really feels like Dark Sun weapons. and apparently this Templar is really well of since he's got some nice metal armor pieces. Or is it really nicely crafted chitinous armor. Either way, very nice work.

If the arrowhead is more of a tiny blade, with a sharp edge and point at the tip, it might still work as it should...or maybe it's a special purpose arrow of some sort...we may never know, and that's part of the fun ;)

Wonderful piece! The figure is holding the bow perfectly, too, and in the style I use when I shoot :)

arrow that will hurt a lot due to the bent end. ugh.

Actually with the curved end like that it'll just deflect off the target, yeah it'll hurt, but it will just leave a bruise :XD: arrowheads are made straight for a reason.

AWSOME! though as an archer it kinda pisses me off to see bad technique. next time you draw somebody pulling the string back, the part where your thumb meets your hand should be next to the end/back of your jaw. but whatever.

Yeah not to mention he's gripping that bow way too tight and that curved arrowhead is going to pose some problems when it hits his target :XD:

The bow itself (not the string) is too relaxed as well. And it might just be my personal choise, but the arrow should prolly be on the other side of the bow. I can live with the weirdo arrow though. xD

OT: Aside from aforementioned (the 2 posts above), it looks boss! Awesome coloring and shading, wish I could do stuff like that... QQ
