Cover art for the upcoming book named Offspring (The Sword of the Dragon Book 2) by Scott Appleton [link]
The book will be published in in Spring 2011.
Originally I didn't go with that costume and made the sword differently, here's the first sketch:

But the author was strict about his descriptions so the first version turned out like this:

Finally they thought the backlights drew too much attention so I turned this into a night scene.
