This is a commission artwork that I made for a paratrooper. He saw my "endless war" piece and asked me
to make a similar painting. I made a quick coloured sketch, everything was fine but it was so similar to the
earlier painting which takes place in the day time and stuff. I don't like repeating myself so I asked the guy,
"How about a nightdrop?", he said that it would be awesome so I changed the whole composition and turned it into
a night drop, added muzzles, tracers and now it's looks pretty ok. They will print it out and hang it in the
Company day room
Again, this is a commission job which I take as a professional, so please don't bug me
about the theme, concept or politics...
LOL! Dang,...that's hard-core. Down to die and still killing in the killing field even after death! LOL,...what to say, what to say? That's a very powerful contagious hate to keep their existence bound to this reality to fight for a cause they believe in. And the look on their faces don't look like they gonna be lettin' up and withdrawing anytime soon! I mean,....look at them! Them suckers is right in the middle core eye storm of the war with their backs turned to one another with no way out, and their general boldy stretching his cocky chest out as he proudly wants them to bring it on. These guys must be wanting to itch so they can scratch it! This gets a 10 in my "Hard-core" factor. It's not like the picture is so well done that its the best I've ever seen, its just that the one picture just gives an impression on so many levels that the ideas just keep rolling up,.........LIKE A TANK!
