Here's the last piece for the D&D's Dungeon Master's Guide 2 Book. This is kind of special to me because it gave me a spot on the line-up for Draconomicon 2 Book which will be out in November.

Lockwood was my inspiration obviously. We salute him for giving us such a cool-looking creature.

For those who are curious about the back-story for this one, I have no idea:) I don't know how the little Thiefling got there and managed to take down a huge Red, because all I had in my description was this scene. So, make up your own story!…

Incredible detail work. I particularly like the wing, it has a very realistic look to it, and not flimsy like a lot of dragon wings I see! I love all the support spines you put into this guys wings.

I'm not sure of this thiefling has taken Red down, however! Maybe just annoyed him :D I think this dragon is going to have a nice snack before slapping a band-aide onto the ouchie!

"So, make up your own story!": Some guy comes in, pokes dragon with shiny needle, dragon says ouch. Guy is instantly converted to a much flatter version of himself. The End :D

I love the level of detail in this.

How do you get such great textures, for example in the dragon's scales? Is each line drawn individually, or do you use any "texture pens" or pattern manipulation to do it?

The best about your art is how you work with different lighting/angles of light. I'm having flashbacks of times I've never even lived in, it's like being drawn into a different, new realm. Unbelievable...
