I really like his facial expression, so I've used it for practice with my own art. Also I really like his armor and i've also taken the design for practice. While I do not plan to upload my doodles to the internet, I must say I have enjoyed using your dark elf for practice.
Badass. I've always loved scale/plate-segment armor, and you draw it really well here. The skin and the veins in it are very convincing also; I've seen people with arms like that (though not grey), and I can definitely imagine a warrior of any kind being similar. The skin, specifically, manages to look natural despite its color. The look on his face is intense, and the hair, though not perfectly realistic (easily excusable) adds a nice dimension.
A couple critiques, though--the placement of his left foot seems a bit odd, like he's going to be off balance in the next step if he lets it land. And also, the sword is awesome, but the curve of the blade seems counterintuitive; the handle and the tip should both be part of the same curve, if indeed the sword is curved. (i.e. the sword's tip should be reversed in direction) Mind you, I don't know a great deal about swords, but I know I've never seen one in all my searches about the internet that's been done this way. Also, he has a bracer on his right arm but not his left? If he's right handed and using a bow, then that would provide no protection, and if he's using his sword, wouldn't he want it on his other arm to block with?
In any case, this is really cool, and despite my minor critiques I like it a lot. Do continue to draw dark elves! You're giving me a number of ideas, since I have a race in my own fantasy stories that are grey-skinned, and I've been trying to figure out how it would look in real life.
